NCCS provides affordable, accessible, and culturally responsive mental health counseling to children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups, with a commitment to reducing barriers to care and strengthening community well-being.

NCCS will become a state-licensed, multi-service mental health center offering a comprehensive continuum of care, including psychiatry and psychopharmacology, individual and group therapy, psychological testing, and support connecting clients to basic needs and community resources.

NCCS provides mental health counseling services through multiple access points to reduce barriers and meet the diverse needs of our community:

Pro Bono Counseling: NCCS provides no-cost mental health counseling to individuals who are uninsured and experience significant financial barriers to care.

School-Based Services: NCCS partners with Somerville Public Schools to provide counseling services to children from kindergarten through high school, who are uninsured or underinsured and for whom English is a second language.

Fee-for-Service Counseling: NCCS offers outpatient counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families who have health insurance but face challenges accessing care due to provider shortages, insurance restrictions, or long waitlists.
